Order Processing
Almost immediately after you place your order, you will first receive an order confirmation e-mail.  We will process your order either the same business day or the next depending upon the time ordered.  Your order has not been charged until we have either the entire order in stock or until we feel the order is as complete as it can be at the time.

Processing involves receiving your order, fulfilling the item(s) purchased and packing the product(s) for shipping. Due to the occasional manufacturer's backorder, processing times may vary in rare instances.  PackingLight typically ships within the first 24 to 48 hours during the business week.  If you order a product that is not in stock and unavailable for longer than five business days, we will contact you and allow you the option of either waiting or canceling your order. 

We value the fact your trip may be in the near future.


Shipping Notification
When your item has shipped, you will receive a shipping notification e-mail from us containing your UPS tracking number.  PackingLight will occasionally ship Priority Mail via the U.S. Postal Service with packages less than two pounds.  This reduces shipping times so you can receive your "stuff" faster.  With this type of shipping service for light, small orders, there will be no UPS tracking number.  For those of you who have received an UPS tracking number, you can look up your tracking information at UPS' site by clicking here or call UPS' toll-free phone number (which is 800-PICK-UPS) to monitor your package status 24/7, 365 days a year. 

If you have not received notification your order has shipped, it is because we expedited your package by sending it via Priority Mail.  In the uncommon instance when you have waited more than ten business days for your package, please feel free to call us on our toll-free number (1-800-349-0525) for information on your package.
