PackingLight Method in Rendered Steps
PackingLight.com urges travelers to pack in a twenty-two inch carry-on or a small check-in sized pullman or backpack and a companion tote. Our packing plan is to have you purchasing less
luggage and to travel with one manageable main bag carrying attire. A second smaller tote or daypack carries necessities other than garments such as toiletries, maps, accessories, reading materials, purses or handbags, electronics, and
assorted odds and ends.
We understand that travel often dictates we outfit ourselves for many different adventures. Cruises and business trips make traveling light difficult because of the need for formal attire. Adventure
travel calls for another type of outfitting. In addition, people who travel with young children, special medical supplies or with extensive camera equipment require extra packing space. The orginal PackingLight method will work in
a slightly larger bag and allow for these special needs.
PackingLight Method General Guidelines
1. Zipper and button every garment so they hold their shape.
2. Lay the pants out along the length of the suitcase.
Lay skirts, dresses, and tops out along the width of the bag.
4. Alternate the direction of the pants and tops as you place each garment in the bag.
