Tilley Cotton Mesh Hats are cool and comfortable because the scientifically designed crowns are made of strong ‘3-D’ polyester mesh which blocks sunlight, but allows air to pass easily. The mesh has also been treated to provide water repellency.
The 100% cotton duck brim blocks sunlight to prevent skin cancer and has been tested and certified as having a UPF 50+, the maximum UV protection rating given.
The TM10 Mesh Hat is styled with the broader brim size of the Tilley T4 model with the following brim measurements: Front and Back: 3 1/2" Sides: 2 1/2"

Washing Instructions:
Wash in warm or cool water. Do not use bleach. Smooth and reshape the hat by hand and set it out to air dry.
Tilley Hat Sizing:
The Tilley hat fits more comfortably than other hats. It’s designed to be worn low on your head and slightly loose. It should be held on by gravity, not by painful pressure on your forehead. For the proper fit, you should be able to easily insert two fingers, flat, between the middle of your forehead and the front of the hat. The hat should be loose enough that you can rotate it to the left and right, and lift it up and down, without friction on your forehead. When it’s windy, use the cord!
Like footwear, your Tilley hat must be sized properly. To find your hat size, use a tape measure and draw it right around your head, just above the eyebrows. After you have sized your head, refer to our size chart for the appropriate Tilley hat.
