For example, Platinum is made with the very best fabric 2000 denier ballistic nylon with Duraguard stain and water resistance, plus has a very stylish Herringbone Trim indictive of top-end luggage. coating. Travelpro’s American-made, YKK zippers are frequent flyer tough because of a side-bound construction which places the nylon zipper off the corners where abrasion occurs. Exemplifying American ingenuity in design, Platinum 7 uprights feature an unique retractable, fully recessed, telescoping handle system with push button single-hand operation. The handle employs “I-Beam Geometry” which are handle tubes that are vertically oriented which are much stronger, more resist to impact on the back of the bag, and take up less room on the interior.
Travelpro Platinum Rollaboards are “packed” with quality interior features not found in most luggage today. For example, all hardware has a super tough finish for the optimal combination of strength and light-weight. The polyurethane bonded wheels with sealed bearings roll through any climate or terrain and ride quiet on hard surfaces. A full length, bottom foot with handle cup with Award Winning "No-Tip" feature keeps the bag upright at all times. Two more handle grips on the site and top of the bag cut a low-profile and possess a TPR comfort grip with chrome accents.
