The Lipault Story
Launched by French designer François Lipovetsky in 2005, Lipault has become one of France's leading luggage brands. After years of designing luggage for Air France, he developed Lipault's signature Plume Collections. Named after the French noun "plume", which means "feather", these Collections are designed to meet the needs of today's savvy travelers. The Lipault Plume line is ultra-lightweight, fill with bright fashion colours,luxurious, and made of durable nylon fabric.
As feather-light and sleek-looking as their namesake, Lipault bags are both functional and fashionable. Choose from Lipault's trademark 0% foldable luggage (which adds "0%" excess weight to your travels and your life) that can be folded for storage in its own bag, the original soft 4-wheeled collection, or the new polycarbonate 4-wheeled collection. All are available in a variety of chic colours and sleek designs and can be mixed and matched for convenience and flexibility.
Inside, each Lipault bag has thoughtfully designed straps, pockets and zipped pouches to keep things organized and safe. Wheels, either 2 or 4 style, make traveling smooth and easy. Lipault currently has three flagship stores in France and is distributed throughout France and the United Kingdom in prominent department stores such as Galleries Lafayette and Selfridges. In the US, Lipault can be found at prestigious department stores and specialty stores across the country.
